Would You Rather Book Tag!

I saw Alice from Arctic Books do this tag and loved it, so i decided to do it as well! Feel free to do this tag on your blog as well. I would love to see everyone’s answers. This post is going to include a lot of GIFs, if you don’t like those…please be warned 😀

Would you rather only read trilogies or only read standalones?

Definitely trilogies! I read more trilogies to be honest, but there are some good standalones as well.. I feel like there is more room to grow for not only the characters, but also as far as world building goes and the writing style. All of those can be even better in a second or third book. Also I can be in that world longer and that is really important for me if I love the book.

Would you rather only read male or female authors?

I don’t really care hahaha. Male or female, some books are just amazing. If I really had to choose I would say female, just because I do love me some YA romance and I love the way female authors seem to be able to pull that off.

Would you rather shop at Barnes and Noble or Amazon?

None of these. I live in The Netherlands, so I have to deal with shipping, which is such a pain in the butt.
There is a Dutch Amazon, but it’s only for e-books. I do like Amazon better, but that’s because I have never purchased anything from Barnes and Noble. What I like to use for buying books is Book Depository! They have free world wide shipping.
(Can there be more sites with free shipping, please?)

Would you rather books were made into TV shows or movies?

This is a though one, but I would say movies. I just like the feel of movies more. They have more access to putting things from the book on screen.

Would you rather read only 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?

5 books per week of course! I couldn’t survive with only 5 pages every day. I would die of curiosity. 😀 Also 5 books per week would get me to my Goodreads goal…

Would you rather be a professional author or reviewer?

I would like to be a professional author. I love writing and I always wanted to publish a book. I don’t know if that will ever happen, but it’s still a dream of mine. I do love to review books though!

Would you rather be a librarian or a bookseller?

Librarian! I have been a lot to the library in my childhood, so I just have a better feel on being a librarian then being a bookseller. 🙂

Would you rather read only your favorite genre, or every other genre but your favorite?

Only my favourite genre! It’s YA Fantasy and it’s something that I just couldn’t live without. I have to to put myself away from reality sometimes.

Would you rather only read ebooks or physical books?

Physical books for days! I am not very fond of e-books myself. While they are very convinient, it is just not the same as holding a physical copy in your hands.

Would you rather read a love at first sight romance or an intense love triangle romance?

Intense love triangle romance. While it is not the best romance out there, some of them are amazingly written and I then it’s really hard to side with one ship ( Yes… I just love to ship people 😀 )

  1. These were great questions! I may do this on my blog when I have some time. I agreed with most of your answers, except I am starting to like e-books better than physical books. For me, E-books are more portable. I take my Kindle everywhere with me, but a physical book is harder to carry and I worry about messing up the pages when I carry an actual book around.

    1. Yes! I have only really have read old ones though. I am planning on reading some more this year! ( I made a blog post about series that I would read, those are mostly YA fantasy! A lot of people do like most of them!) I am currently reading HP! I loved reading The Wrath and The Dawn by Renée Ahdieh. Older ones would be The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Delirium by Lauren Oliver, Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick.
